Self Storage is a service offering flexible, do-it-yourself storage for business and domestic customers. Self-Storage offers you the space to keep your goods and affords you the peace of mind that you know your belongings are safe, secure and protected from the elements.

We are located 4 km outside Gorey which is less than 1 hour from South Dublin or Wexford town. We are ideally located to service the areas of Bray, Arklow, Wicklow town, Avoca, Carnew, Bunclody, Ferns, Camolin, Courtown, Enniscorthy, Ballymoney, Ballygarrett, Ballycanew, Oylgate Wexford, Carlow, Tullow and South County Dublin. Our Self Storage facility is open 365 days per year. Standard access hours are between 7am and 9pm, 7 days per week. Access outside these hours (including 24 hour access) must be agreed in advance. Additional fees may apply.

Yes. You are more than welcome to tour our storage facilities and to check out our units. That way you can be sure that your possessions will be safe before you part with any money.  Viewing appointments must be booked in advance.

Our monthly fees range from €75 to €300 depending on the unit size required. See the unit sizes and prices here.

Payment for your unit must be made monthly in advance.  You can pay direct to our bank, we will provide our bank details on your invoice.  Alternatively you can pay through the website here.

Yes, you will be asked to sign a Storage Agreement agreeing to our terms and conditions prior to moving in. Photo ID (Passport or Drivers Licence) will also be required.

As a first step, access to your unit will be removed. When fees remain unpaid for 14 days or more, the contents will be removed and disposed of in line with the terms and conditions of our storage agreement.

The minimum period for storage is 1 month.

14 days’ notice is required on move out at the end of the month.

Staffords Self Storage Ltd. do not provide insurance cover for your goods. It is the responsibility of the customer to source appropriate insurance cover for their goods.

Upsizing or downsizing units is no problem and commonly done by customers as their storage requirements change.

You are not permitted to store the following
– Living creatures
– Foodstuffs or other Perishable goods
– Illegal or stolen goods
– Flammable goods (including Gas cylinders)
– Hazardous materials and waste storage

The interior and exterior of the premises are covered by CCTV.  Access to the premises is controlled by security gates and each unit has its own lock and key.

No. All customers have access to their units 365 days per year between the hours of 7am to 9pm. Access outside these hours can be arranged in advance.

No, we do not have a forklift available. However do provide pallet trucks and  trolleys to assist with your loading and unloading.

Receiving goods is the responsibility of the customer as we do not hold keys to any units.  However as access to the building can be operated remotely, deliveries can be arranged without you on site provided deliveries do not obstruct other customers and all deliveries are packed away into units on the same day.

You must arrange your own transport. However, we can recommend some removal companies that we partner with.

Yes your children are permitted on site but in the interest of their safety, they must be supervised at all times.

We are sorry but we do not allow pets on the premises.

We can provide locks for unit at a charge or customers can supply their own locks.  Should you require a lock please include one when booking your unit online.

You are the only key holder to your unit. Being the only key holder gives you peace of mind, knowing that no one can access your unit without your permission. Locks are for sale on site and on the website or customers are welcome to provide their own lock.

No. However, by packing goods properly, you make more efficient use of the space. We suggest you number or label your boxes for easy reference and retrieval.  We would also suggest you use dust covers for soft furnishings. See other packing and storing tips here.

The walls of the units are block built with a steel roof and steel roller door.  The interior of the units are painted and most come with a light.

Our units are not air conditioned or temperature controlled.  However they are all internal units and therefore not exposed to the elements and free from damp.

There is no power supply in the units.  They are designed for storage only.

Yes. Our units are internal block units and can be used for document storage.  They are ideal for offices at a fraction of the cost of Records Management companies. Some of our units are shelved for document storage boxes.  For further information please contact us.

Yes.  Our units are internal block units and can be used for storage of soft furnishings.  We would recommend customer pack soft furnishings appropriately.

Yes, our units are suitable for a commercial storage and are used by Retailers, tradespeople, offfces, merchandiser and many more.

Yes you can book up to 14 days ahead of today’s date.  Simply book your unit online and at checkout stage you are prompted to select your move in date.  Your monthly rental will start from this date, not the date you book your unit.
